Deuno

‘The lettering was based both on Mayan hieroglyphics for their shape and grid-like structure and the hand painted lettering found on signs all over Mexico’

Designer Mike Abbink and Paul van der Lann’s Deuno Sans, designed for El Banco Deuno (One’s Bank) in Mexico. Details here.

Unfortunately, Deuno is not available for licensing.

A while back, I was running thru Pottery Barn on my way to the Apple Store. This red one was on mark down. Marked wayyy down.

Coming Together: Ampersands for Haiti


SOTA’s Font Aid IV jumped into action a few weeks ago – to benefit the victims of the recent earthquake in Haiti.

The result was released today. A collaborative font.
