Hope, 2010
‘The charges are familiar: He’s a compromiser who hasn’t stood up to the GOP or Wall Street. But a look at his record reveals something even more startling – a truly historic presidency’
Rolling Stone takes a look at what’s really been going on in the White House. Great read. Shows how how Obama is brilliantly working the system – whether or not the media is reporting on it.
Call me crazy, but I believe that our president should actually be a really smart person.
I know. Insane concept for the United States to stomach.
the west wing
Also this week – in a bit of patriotic looniness – I spent some time touring The White House via this site.
I’d never actually known that the West Wing is not part of the main building, but an offshoot hidden in the trees. Never been to D.C., but now I know why Josiah Bartlet was always walking outside to work.
I just thought it was cause he liked to smoke.
