‘Listing their influences as Courtney Love, Nirvana and Led Zeppelin, The Pretty Reckless is completed by guitarist Ben Phillips, bassist Mark Damon and drummer Jamie Perkins’ –Social Butterflies

Stardom hits younger these days – and with the success of Gossip Girl, the kid sister on the show – 16-year-old badger-eyed Taylor Momsen – is fronting a new band, The Pretty Reckless.

A tad young for her style and music? She doesn’t like to wear pants? That’s what critics are commenting on. My take: the band sounds tight, the music is good. Just listen and enjoy. It’s like Avril was, only different.
