Her work channels the soft feminine forms of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.muchafoundation.org\" target=\"_blank\">Mucha<\/a> mixed with a manga sensibility. Sort of. In this, she takes these influences and makes them all her own. Any references are just that: references.<\/p>\n<p>What really caught me are her notebooks &#8211; experimental, playful and erotic. Found in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.audrey-kawasaki.com\/galleries.php?g=2&#038;r=12&#038;p_id=176&#038;page=2\" target=\"_blank\">doodles section of her site<\/a>, her work plays with cartoonish human forms, ornament, typography and graphic layout.
