{"id":22833,"date":"2010-11-20T18:20:47","date_gmt":"2010-11-21T02:20:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mehallo.com\/blog\/?p=22833"},"modified":"2010-11-17T22:55:16","modified_gmt":"2010-11-18T06:55:16","slug":"porchezs-free-conqueror-fonts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/mehallo.com\/blog\/archives\/22833","title":{"rendered":"Free Conqueror fonts!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/conqueror.com\/#\/en\/typography\/types\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/mehallo.com\/B\/Conqueror01.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8216;Jean Fran\u00e7ois Porchez was approached at the end of 2009 to create a set of typefaces to relaunch the Conqueror papers collection.&#8217;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Jean Fran\u00e7ois Porchez&#8217;s beautiful Conqueror fonts are based on some great historical design eras &#8211; and are available free via Arjowiggins Creative Papers thru end of March 2012.<\/p>\n<p>The fonts themselves are mostly caps and missing a few punctuation marks &#8211; but they also have similar widths, cool alternate characters (such as swashes) and 3D carved versions (as extras) &#8211; making them vastly interchangeable. And who knows, since they&#8217;re free, maybe they&#8217;ll conqueror the design world.<\/p>\n<p>A standard commercial font license applies.
